This virus was detected long time ago in Copenhagen, Denmark. Recent outbreak is being caused through Clade Ib, therefore this is an emergency action going on. Genekam Biotechnology AG has developed some real time PCR kits to detect this virus.This kit contains all components including mastermix, primers + probes, positive and negative controls; hence user needs to add only 2\u00b5l of isolated DNA to 18\u00b5l of solutions (total 20\u00b5l) run the reaction in real time machine.
